Freakin ridiculous monstrosities. I drive through Massachusetts all the time and see these things and they are NEVER EVER moving! For YEARS, so just what the hell are they doing? They don’t do anything! And i can just imagine what they cost the taxpayers.

PETA is nowhere to be found on the killing of birds by windmills. Shocking.

These damn windmills are a blight on our beautiful American landscape. Solar farms too.

Our corrupt governor here in Maine (Janet Mills, Demonrat Farmington) who is up for re-election this November has been subsidizing windmills and solar “farms” at the taxpayers’ expense and they are now all over the state, especially the solar farms. In a state where the number one industry is tourism.
]
Maine is the most heavily wooded state in the country and vast number of trees have been cut down to build these monstrosities. The tops of hills and mountains are clear cut to accommodate the so-called windmills.

Paul LePage served as governor from 2010-2014. Term-limited out, he is running for re-election this November. Can’t wait to vote for him.

His energy advisor has said that a windmill, when turning, produces 3 megawatts per hour. He also stated that a gas turbine produces 45 megawatts an hour.

How many gallons of oil does it take to lubricate one large wind generator? Hundreds?

In dry parts of Texas, where the wind blows strong often, you should see the cloud of dust created when the turbines are in use. Glad I don’t have any on our property.

They will go away, without a subsidy, they make no economic sense.

The whole concept is being used to bait citizens into accepting a creep into Communism and a total loss of Freedom.

We must prevent that. Or the USA will end. Elements of the citizens already know what is being done. Texas will not go along. No matter what.

A little glue, a little duct tape, and it’ll be right back in action siphoning money from rate-payers pockets.

Looks like this wind turbine is missing something, for sure.

“Blade falls off 400-foot wind turbine in Gloucester (MA); no injuries reported”

My eye sight is starting to go a little bit, cataracts are starting to manifest etc.. plus I’m tired and fuzzy brained and I woke up this morning after a pretty busy weekend and had coffee-in-hand, glanced at this article and my eyes fooled me. I thought it read:

Biden falls off 400-foot wind turbine in Gloucester (MA); no injuries reported

There’s something not right, too much left out of this story. The blades are >150 feet long, weigh better than 10 tons and “full speed” is 50-60 rpm, making for a YUGE amount of centripetal force. Lose one blade and the imbalance produces considerably more force than the nacelle can tolerate, and the whole schmeer comes apart.

Which lends the possibility they’re either leaving out the fact that it self-destructed, or the blade fell off when it wasn’t even running, like maybe during routine maintenance.
