Maybe not as much as they are in Muslim nations...but it's sure to get worse.
A new study by Lifeway Research found that more than half (54%) of the 1,005 Americans surveyed believe that religious freedom is eroding in the United States. Even more, 59%, said the treatment of Christians and intolerance for their beliefs is getting worse.
"Intolerance is about cultural pushback," Scott McConnell, executive director of Lifeway Research, explained. "In the American marketplace of ideas, not all systems of thought are welcomed. The majority of all religions notice this pushback against Christians today."
What does one make of these statistics? Relevant Magazine — a Christian publication, the tagline of which is "God, lifestyle, and progressive culture" — is a good place to start. Responding to these findings in a recent article, it gets it right by arguing that, whatever Christians in America may be experiencing, they are certainly not being persecuted the way their counterparts are in other nations and parts of the world:
[C]onservative Christian groups [in America] have a lot to celebrate. The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and delivered a big win to Christians who want to pray in public schools. These are big, historic decisions and they don't square with a narrative of diminishing religious liberty for Christians.
This is especially true on the global scale. Open Doors USA's World Watch List keeps track of the countries where it's most dangerous to be a Christian, and the stories on their meticulously detailed database are heartbreaking. Christians in places like Afghanistan, North Korea and Somalia can be imprisoned, tortured and even killed for their faith. ...

Christians are being canceled and stifled just like,conservatives and patriots are. The left have openly engaged in war with everyone else, and thye aren’t even coy about it anymore, so,yes, it is getting worse and more openly brazen. Churches have been targeted by the lgbtq and blm crowd, and the police are told to,stand down (BUT boy do they jump into action if a conservative or Christian defends th3msleves.
A pastor street preacher was arrested b3czuse he refused to stop preaching the word of God in public in I beleive It was San Diego or some western state. The cops stated that they arrested him because he was “creating a possibly dangerous atmopshere” by refusing to leave. Note that thye never arrest blm and antifa for creating actusl dangerous atmospheres where the left are actuslly attacking the right-
The left are now saying out loud “screw your sympathy and prayers” in tragic situations now, and they are getting much more angry and hostile towards those who are Christians. It all stems from evil and Incivility on the part of a very selfish and angry generation who can’t stand the fsct that others have a right to,free speech and opinions.
We are sliding into,a very bad place in this country, more and more rapidly. Other nations have it much worse of course, but we,aren’t far off from being pretty bad in our nation if the left go much further in their hatred towards anyone who isn’t a rabid liberal- theh own and control the police, courts, judges etc, and they use them to persecute Christians conservatives and patriots, and ot financially cripple them in courts.
In our state’s primary, many of those silent republicans lost. Only one incumbent earned my vote this year. He sued the RINO Governor for his unconstitutional power grab.
Long ago I decided that political persecution of my faith won’t be tolerated. I trust that I’ll have the words needed when needed. Attempt at physical persecution of myself and mine in my presence won’t be allowed. Long ago I traded my cloak for a sword. I’ll choose cold rather than defenseless. As a free American, I am guaranteed the free exercise of my faith and have the rights to self preservation/ defense
of that exercise as well.
That is, or at least ought to be, the Christian in America, harmless as a dove, wise as a serpent, but able to live free by lawful application of force, legal process or physical as the case may dictate if/ when rights, liberties and immunities endowed by my Creator and protected by our tacitly and implicitly agreed upon foundations are threatened.

Cdls and Bishops are denying some practicing Catholics THM, that is very similar to persecution.
OUR VALUES ARE, then you add in the 1 note preacher. FOR THE CHILDREN, GIVE MONEY without being taught to work for it, While Seniors struggle to get yard work, house cleaned, and put food on the table. They are expected to give, no hymns, either, no full Bible preaching. JUST GIVE, GIVE, GIVE. What happened to Salvation, Revelations? Gone.

Not a persecution, yet. The younger generation is very pushy when it comes to the trans, gay, queer population. I am talking about Christian kids (maybe former, not sure) chastising their elders for having a Christian worldview regarding the LGBTQ+++. These are kids that got degrees from conservative Christian universities. Brainwashed.
I can see those type of young people turning in their elders to authorities if the “need” came up.

Americans made “diversity” and “multiculturalism” the national religion instead of Christianity, so do not be surprised at the consequences of worshipping a false idol.
These are the same RINOs who facilitated the Steal and who are silent on the plight of the J6 prisoners.
I just pray to God we see lots of them kicked out in the primaries.
Because they know that Muslims will strike back, Christians will turn the other cheek and take the attacks and remain silent.
