Kind of my feeling. If people want kids then they should have kids. Lots of people out there that do not want children.

Also their choice and if that is what floats their boat.

Since her husband is older she is looking forward to a long widowhood. Having several children might be her way of keeping his memory alive longer.

Some people have pets, some people have kids.

Some have neither.
