A man in Oklahoma is accused of killing his friend on a fishing trip Saturday after he believed the friend had summoned the legendary Bigfoot monster to eat him.
Larry Sanders, 53, was taken into custody this weekend and is facing a first-degree murder charge, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said.
Sanders allegedly killed Jimmy Knighten on Oklahoma's South Canadian River during a bare-handed fishing trip gone wrong, according to a report.
The two had a fight that ended with Sanders striking and strangling Knighten, Sanders confessed, according to authorities.
The victim's body was found Sunday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said.
Sanders said he killed Knighten because his friend "intended to feed him to sasquatch/Bigfoot," an affidavit read, according to the report.

Are there Sasquatch along the Canadian River shores?
The ghosts of Pretty Boy Floyd?
Not to worry, Sasquatch is likely vegan.

I’d love to see the look on the jury members faces when Bigfoot is called as a surprise witness.

What the hell was he supposed to do, let Bigfoot come and kill him? Exactly, you’ve got to act fast when your friend sics Bigfoot on you.

Sounds like Meth paranoia to me.
I have read of many similar cases, just substitute demons/aliens for bigfoot...
To: lowbridge
It’s illegal to get Bigfoot to kill your friends. That guy deserved a good talking to.

Why not? They make for good bait.
