WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — When coronavirus vaccines for infants and young children were authorized for the first time last month, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis warned parents against the “baby jabs,” saying regulators had done insufficient testing and trials.
Still, he said he wouldn’t stand in parents’ way if they chose to vaccinate their kids. “You are free to choose,” he assured them.

The "we can't get our kids vaccinated" line is thin gruel, but if you click through to the article, it's really just used as a hook to advance anti-DeSantis campaign talking points. So much for the msm pretending to be journalists.
It's part of the current wave of journalisiming which appears to be trying to resurrect the CCP virus, and the government response to it, as an issue for the Dems in 2024, and to the extent possible, this November. The target has to be "swing" voters, because I'm sure that no one imagines that the Dem or Trump base are going to be moved by any of this.
It's really strange, and I'm not sure what to make of it.

The COVID vaccines are not unique. All vaccines are protected from lawsuits by the PREP Act. This act was necessary to keep pharmaceutical companies in the vaccine business. Prior to it’s passage, frivolous lawsuits were driving companies out of the business. Congress provided other remedies for those damaged by the vaccines.

No one ever said they were 100% effective. No vaccines are.

Why would a healthy kid get a vaccine if they don’t get sick by covid and the vacs are worthless in regard to spreading the virus to others?

No, the courts have ruled that mandatory vaccinations are legal. Almost all schools have some lists of vaccination required for attendance. The military requires many vaccines usually given during basic training.

True but I haven’t heard that any cause serious after effects like the Covid-19 vaccines and Covid usually affects older folks or immune compromised ones which excludes most of the military.
