' A cabin crew members has listed things travellers should be careful of during their flight
A flight attendant has issued a warning to people who fall asleep on a plane.
While many people like to relax during their travel and take a nap throughout their flight, a flight attendant warned those sitting by the window to be careful as some parts of the plane are dirtier than others. Tommy Cimato said: "Do not fall asleep or lean your head on the window.
He warned that you never knew how many people had done the same and whether the window had been cleaned or not. He added: “You are not the only one that has done that and you don't know how many people or children have wiped their hands or other things all over the window.” - as Mirror Online reports.
Tommy also advised holidaymakers to not wear shorts on a flight. While jetsetters opt for shorts on a plane due to increased levels of comfort, the cabin crew members warned a plane can be incredibly unhygienic so its best to avoid as much direct contact as possible
He added: "Don’t or try not to wear shorts when you're on an airplane. It's the same thing as the window – you never know how clean it's going to be, so if you have pants, you're going to have less germs.”
Tommy also warned people against pressing the toilet flush button on planes. He said: "He said: “Do not ever touch the flush button with your bare hands. It's honestly just super unsanitary and pretty gross, so when you flush, use a napkin or tissue that's in the lavatory.”
😁🤣😜
😁🤣😜
My favorite has always been the Lockheed SR-71, but they never had enough room for me :/
“US travel is just disgusting currently.”
I’m 68. I remember when people dressed up to travel. Even going on the bus required a hat and gloves for women and a suit with tie for men. Look at the photos of Dr. King leading a march. The marchers all look like they’re dressed for a wedding. Heck, I’ve been to weddings where the people are in t-shirts. Society has lost its grace.
Is not Hell burning all the time?
Just gotta ride on the fuselage.
But ya gotta hang on REAL tight!
🤣😜
We have become a germophobic society.
Pathetic really.
I hope you used some hand sanitizer before typing that.
And were wearing a mask 😷.
And had the shots 💉💉 and all the boosters 💉💉💉.
And were 6 feet away from the keyboard ⌨️.
😁😜
When I get home from a trip it is like my wife wants me to burn what I am wearing. I mean, after I remove the items from my body.
Help Jerry’s kids?
Support nuclear power?
I thought everything was “Covid free” so we won’t get the sniffles! I was under the impression that the airlines “#1 concern was the safety and health of its passengers”!?
We checked into a hotel a couple of weeks ago and the TV remote was wrapped in cellophane. Ridiculous. What about the cabinet pulls, light switches, door knobs, or the dumbass who placed the remote into the cellophane? It’s all show.
They only clean what they can in the time it takes to refuel, which isn’t very long...maybe 10-15 minutes..then the plane is reloaded for the next trip
Not that old, but my gosh, I still try to dress with some decorum when I travel. I’m sorry, but if you board a plane in shorts and some ratty t-shirt perhaps you should have checked out Greyhound, or whatever other bus line is still available.
IMO, you can dress comfortably, but you can also maintain some dignity. Also, perhaps dressing up a bit raises the morale of those around you.
And by the way, germs have been with us since Adam left the Garden. Lighten up.
Maybe. But things behind the scenes are really quite disgusting. Just like in restaurants. When you have routinely viewed the two inches of urine on the floor tracked all over the aircraft or dirty diapers smeared on the commode or counter you might understand. Been there. That is why I choose to do my traveling only by Covid/ China virus free motorhome.
Been there.
Lol
Nicely done
The remote is the dirtiest thing in room.but you are right
The other stuff has gerns too
Yes. That’s why caution with fire is unnecessary in hell.
