The loss of the male sex chromosome as many men age causes the heart muscle to scar and can lead to deadly heart failure, new research shows. The finding may help explain why men die, on average, several years younger than women.
Kenneth Walsh, Ph.D., says the new discovery suggests that men who suffer Y chromosome loss—estimated to include 40% of 70-year-olds—may particularly benefit from an existing drug that targets dangerous tissue scarring. The drug, he suspects, may help counteract the harmful effects of the chromosome loss—effects that may manifest not just in the heart but in other parts of the body as well.
On average, women live five years longer than men in the United States. The new finding, Walsh estimates, may explain nearly four of the five-year difference.
…The scientists also looked at the effects of Y chromosome loss in human men. They conducted three analyses of data compiled from the UK Biobank, a massive biomedical database, and found that Y chromosome loss was associated with cardiovascular disease and heart failure. As chromosome loss increased, the scientists found, so did the risk of death.
Walsh notes that one potential treatment option might be a drug, pirfenidone, that has been approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a form of lung scarring. The drug is also being tested for the treatment of heart failure and chronic kidney disease, two conditions for which tissue scarring is a hallmark. Based on his research, Walsh believes that men with Y chromosome loss could respond particularly well to this drug, and other classes of antifibrotic drugs that are being developed, though more research will be needed to determine that.
At the moment, doctors have no easy way to determine which men suffer Y chromosome loss.

How does this affect trannies though.
Men have two testicles.
One has X and one has Y.
Which ever testicle the sperm comes from determines the sex of the baby.
So losing a testicle can result in the loss of Y.
I have been studying the new public school ‘health’ ed.
It can also cause a bunch a problems as the growth hormone can cause the wrongs stuff to grow like cancer cells.
But it’s science. You must believe.

Growth hormone and Test are two different substances.
Good article. Thank you for sharing that.
I had my Y chromosome out playing with it last week.
Now I can’t find it.
I had a similar thought when I woke up one morning to find my ass had fallen off. I looked in the cushions and around the yard but I cant find it. I even used a flashlight.
Nobody has replacements online, probably ripples from the plandemic or Putins fault.
I dont know what Im going to do. Maybe I can get on a transplant list.
yes, the results have exceeded my wildest expectations.
But please remember, my exercise habit started long ago, and it was a slow and gradual progression. The key is regular exercise, not hard exercise once one gets to Medicare age.
Women live longer than men because men start accumulating iron earlier.
At 70 who cares your not using them anyway.
Nah, it’s God’s way of giving the guy a break before eternity REALLY sets in.
WTH?!

The dead ones.
They say that laughter is the best medicine -
and it IS up until the point when you laugh your ass off.
Then the fun is gone...

The problems are more likely to occur if you take it. Much less so than if you take herbs and such that allow your body to continue to make it normally.
How can you lose a chromosome?
About as easy as ‘losing’ my car keys or cell phone?
