I knew a brit who had teeth like a picket fence. A lot of them do. One day we were just visiting, he was one of the brits I worked with that was a really nice fellow. I asked him what his father did for a living in the UK. “He is a dentist.” I nearly bit my tongue off trying not to guffaw.

That sucks. I’m sorry you have to deal with that. So far, none of that is happening here. The dental offices are still doing all the normal stuff.

And my sister in Florida just got two crowns on Monday and had a root canal last month. She was griping about the prices, but they were in line with what they’ve been.

That’s why I asked if it was a blue state. I’m wondering if this is a blue state thing.

Thabks. Im sure i will find a place to go, i jusynhavent looked into,it yet. My guess is it is blue state stuff as the states get themselves into finacial trouble and cut back funding and such. But thatnis just a guess.

Its a story I've repeated several times here.

My dentist here in Arizona says most of his business is repairing the damage the people get when they go to Mexico for the cheap dentistry.

Interesting. I have had some dental work done over the past 3-4 months: 5 filling and a root canal/ceramic crown. No issues whatever. Work was done in Virginia.

I doubt the tooth stubs can survive after being filed down like this. I have a couple of crowns and one implant. They haven't given me any problems.

They don’t have fluoride in the tap water in the UK. That’s one of the main reasons their teeth are universally terrible.

Yeah I don’t see how that’s a good solution. Once you bust all the enamel off your teeth like that, then there’s no saving them. Might as well pull them out all the way and get dentures.

Nope. No implants. They filed my teeth down to 25% size and put caps on them. It was done in the states and it sure as hell wasn't cheap, but they've been in 30 years and have been great.

Didn’t the banker on THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES have this done, until Granny pulled the caps off?

I was born on the High Plains and Ogallala Aquifer well water was my drink till I was 8 years old.
Then it was 4-Corners Alkalai water with natural fluoride.

I am now 75 years old and I, my brother and sister still have all our teeth.

My mom, on the other hand, was born and raised on well water in Tennessee. Natural limestone well water.
She had to have all her teeth capped as a teen and finally got dentures.

Dad died with all his teeth as he was also raised on a little bit of Ogallala aquifer well water, and lots of beer and whiskey.

For whatever reason my wife has had constant problems with her teeth over the years. She takes good care of them but a lot of it happened when she was young and in her teen years.

A couple of years ago we went to Los Algondoes mexico at https://sanidentalgroup.com/ and had all her problem teeth pulled and implants put in. Her front teeth had been capped and operated on after a childhood accident but hey never looked right. So we ended up capping all the front teeth top and bottom to match.

I have to say the results are pretty good. She is now past all the problems with her teeth. We got all that done for only $10,000 in two trips...one for evaluation and second for the work to be done......it would have cost 40k or 50K in the us.
