All signs point to birds of a feather
The youngster would be alive today if he simply exited the house when the police asked him to exit.
The barricaded crooks could have simply surrendered. They decided to stay inside and suffocate. Fully their own decision.
Sad. RIP.
Less than lethal does not mean safe.
Another possibility is the kid wanted to leave on his own but was afraid one of these Rambos might shoot him.
The boy didn't die because the police used tear gas (which they didn't), he died because he didn't get out of a burning house.

I’m not even saying it wasn’t an excessive approach by the SWAT.
Mostly saying some of the blame goes to people, who have kids living at home, who house criminal types.
It could be a situation where the mother didn’t want the criminal suspect in her home but couldn’t get rid of him.
It which case it’s a shame.
