I don’t think over-repetition of the phrase “unprovoked invasion” means they know they’re lying... it could also (and I think does) mean they want us to think Russia is wrong. Those are actually two independent possibilities... they could both be true, or neither; there could be a third possibility. Probably is.

And those “countless experts” who warned this was coming... they’re all talking about different things. Countless experts did not warn us that if we continued to tempt Ukraine into joining NATO, but before they actually did so, Russia would invade Ukraine.

This Ukrainian war was about as unprovoked as our war in Iraq, as far as I can see.
