Stupid people are always moved by good propaganda.
And they don’t have a clue why. Or that they’ve been moved at all.
It seems organic to them.
Sometimes smart people fall for it, too. They may figure it out, but may never say anything because today, consistency is seen as being a value as far as opinions are concerned. The society of the internet has the perception and reactions of a typical four-year-old. Everything is dumbed down.
I’ve been reading “The Story of Philosophy” (Durant) and am on the chapter about Francis Bacon, who addressed what we currently call “bias confirmation.”
Anyway, the first video is good. I am watching it right now.
