A greater likelihood is that the landscape has significantly changed and we are no longer dealing with traditional United States politics.
Instead, we now face a party in power that is heavily populated with both ideological and physical bomb-throwers who are all quite ready to risk "remaking" or even tearing down our country.
We can and should view the future with confidence, while at the same time anticipating the obstacles that future may present. See, for instance, the events of 911 and Covid 19 that choked our economies and impacted our lifestyles - this time with perhaps a more demanding government.
