Not that difficult. You feed them, pat them and play with them when they want, and leave them alone the rest of the time. Now where’s my grant?

Exactly. Cats are the perfect pet.

You forgot one — clean out their litter box daily.

Life is boring without cats in the house...

No, a perfect pet would stay off the kitchen counters even when you’re not looking. Also, it would only claw what it’s intended to claw, and it wouldn’t walk across your head when it gets hungry or lonely during the night.

Every other day for ours, and they can just deal with it.

Duct tape laid sticky side up solves all those problems quick and let them suffer a while before removing it.... has to imprint that those are no go zones.

Cats clean themselves by licking their fur with their tongues. When they do so, they leave a small amount of tongue protein on their fur that dries and is constantly shed throughout the house. After a period of time, everything in your house has a thin layer of cat tongue protein on it....everything!
A friend has four big dogs inside his house, he has a sign that says, "dog hair is a condiment" in this house. He's correct, I never eat there.(And, only went once)
BTW, when I know, I don't even go inside a cat owners house.
I have dogs but they live outside!!
