While I have no use for her and the wnba I think Russia should fine her about $5 Million and release her at a China border crossing. IMHO it isn't worth it for Russia to pay to incarcerate her.

If she committed a crime in Russia they she MUST PAY THE PRICE FOR HER CRIME

“She pleaded guilty, stressing that she was carrying substances prohibited in Russia unintentionally, because she was packing in a hurry,” ..her Attorney stated.

Smart decision on her part. She’ll probably be home in a matter of weeks.

Time served and Deportation would be an adequate sentence.
She’s not a citizen...
I could go either way on this.

"I'm pleading guilty, but I didn't do anything wrong 'cause I didn't intend to do anything wrong."
Still flouting that black privilege that works so well in US courts, I see.
To: where's_the_Outrage?
Russia would probably love to have her back in the USA bad-mouthing us and praising how lenient Russia was to her.

I don’t care if she gets life. I am no fan of basketball and damn sure no fan of overpaid, spoiled athletes.

I don’t want her back! Send her to Cuba with all the other America-hating coddled athletes!
To: where's_the_Outrage?
I wonder if they’ll convict her of the crime but dangle early release contingent on training Russian coaching staff to a gold-medal Olympic win in women’s basketball.

The Russians will put her to work digging ditches in Siberia.
She will pay for her food and lodging in hard labor.

She’ll be sentenced to 10 years prison, no parole.
Then maybe the Russians will trade her for someone they want back.

Putin and Biden probably made a deal that if she pleads guilty to something very minor, Putin will accept Ukraine in return for generously letting her go, and Biden will get credit for getting her/him/it back.

It would be worth it for russia to keep her in prison because it continues to humiliate Pedojoe Bidet as a flaccid, weak pedo-resident.
So detaining her is priceless.
