Over the years I've posted case after case of women who died when Roe was legal. Women who died when abortion was safe, legal and rare. Women were also left infertile and/or mentally scared.

Pregnancy is not a cancer cell to be extracted. Pregnancy does come to an end. Pregnancy can also be prevented. To hear them talk one would think pregnancy was contracted like COVID.

The incendiary article language obscures the details of the case. My understanding is this dentist was having a miscarriage and course of her treatment was botched. Her septic condition was missed until too late.

The last abortion clinic in Missouri was closed because it failed to pass public health minimums. There were several incomplete abortions that troubled the health inspectors. I also heard that they didn't have a defibrillator or a surgeon with admitting privileges at a hospital. In other words, a dentist's office was safer than the abortion clinic. If it meant so much to them, the abortion advocates should have upgraded the clinic's basic health standards when they were warned.

It was a money-making venue and they really didn't care about the health or choices of the women they were supposed to be suing. For those on the fence, things changed when the general public became aware of the protocol of a late-term abortion and selling the embryonic tissue was the final straw for many.

The story is being misreported by US media for political purposes.
Savita Halappanavar died in Galway University Hospital on October 28th 2012. Three separate inquiries into her death found that she died of sepsis – an infection of the blood caused by an extremely virulent bacteria, Ecoli ESBL, rarely seen in Irish maternal health services. The HSE inquiry also found that the bacteria was also the most likely cause of Savita’s miscarriage.

The inquiries found that Savita’s case had been medically mismanaged in the hospital, with the HIQA inquiry pointing to 13 missed opportunities to save her life. The evidence that emerged from those inquiries is presented below, and is a clear and factual account of this tragic case.
