Still trying to figure out how to post photos, I tried for a bit yesterday and failed. LOL. My brain is fried right now but I’ll figure it out eventually.

I like that idea!

About a decade ago, my immediate family decided, ‘No More Stuff’ so whatever we give for Birthdays and Christmas must be ‘consumable.’ We also count books in there, as we’re all avid readers, we all love Murder Mysteries or Historical Fiction and we pass the books on to each other, anyway. ;)

My go-to is crocheted dish cloths with ‘fancy’ dish soap or a crocheted washcloth with higher end soap or body wash.

I did. I’m a pretty good seamstress but not so great at tech. LOL. Will figure it out eventually.

Here’s an idea for your NEXT year’s fair entry! The stitch pattern is super interesting ... it’s done in “rainbow” and then there is one in blue/white . It looks like good instructions/photos on the pattern. Both blankets are gorgeous in different ways due to the colors used.

Here are the templates I use to post pictures. Just copy the template into the post & put your direct link from Postimage between the " " marks where the template says "PUT YOUR PICTURE HERE":

[/img]

For a taller pic (just reversed height/width numbers):

[/img]

To make these templates show a picture, you need to replace the brackets (4 of them in each template) with "<" or ">" pointing in the right direction & here is what you do:

Replace [ with <

Replace ] with >

I had to use brackets so the html would show the template, not a blank picture!

PREVIEW is your friend!! When you PREVIEW your picture before posting & it shows up, if it looks too wide or too tall, you can reverse the height or width numbers or increase/decrease them. I just put them in the template as a starting place.

Give the templates a try & Good Luck!! :-)

Oh, VERY pretty! And you’re right - it looks great in a variety of colors.

It looks like you could easily see if you made a mistake before you got too far along. (Always a good thing for me, LOL!)

I did it! Thanks, Q This is an English Paper Piecing project called Smitten. It was supposed to be a “Block of the Month” last year and I just finished month 5. Trying to get all the Hexie blocks together before I move on to Month 6. This is my first EPP project and I can see my improvement already from month 1. ;^)

“Mosaic” is the ‘in’ thing right now - this is the first mosaic pattern I’ve seen that I really like. As she says, there are two mosaic patterns you can mix/match. I love the blue one ... you can see the two separate patterns & I like the way she uses one for what looks like a wide ‘border’.

Anyway, something to think about for next year. Still no work on that scarf due to my ‘dad’ situation. Perhaps this weekend. I did find my “woven” stitch chart that I made up. It’s been so long I think I’m going to have to make up a practice swatch to get back into the swing of things so I don’t mess up the scarf & have to ‘frog’ anything. I just remember that woven stitch was a pain in the patootie & I had to concentrate while doing it.

Very good - another pic!!

To make a space between your text & the picture, use <> with your p between them. You had the right idea with the /p/, just use the <> instead.

You can also add the <> with the p between immediately after your picture template & anything you write will show up below your picture.

You’ll be an html ‘pro’ in no time :-)

I did used to know about the paragraph HTML but honestly, haven’t posted much on the boards (I read mostly) and our state board is different. My state board is very active and I mostly post stuff there.

It was worth the wait for your pictures; very impressive work!

I have about 20 rows to go on my crocheted afghan, then I’ll post some pictures.

Off to run errands this morning. I cannot confirm or deny that there may be yarn or fabric involved. ;)

Two free patterns I saw this morning .....

I LOVE bookmarks - small projects & they can be really beautiful. This one is similar to another one I have that is very pretty .....

Leaf Bunch Crochet Bookmark
https://www.allfreecrochet.com/Bookmarks/Leaf-Bunch-Crochet-Bookmark—113425

Then I saw this baby blanket - I think part of the appeal is in the color(s) used (love them) .... took a look at the stitch pattern in more detail and there is some interest there as well, but I don’t think this blanket would be so pretty in a single color:

Over Brook Baby Blanket
https://krissysoverthemountaincrochet.com/2022/07/over-brook-baby-blanket-free-crochet-along/

Regarding pictures - I would like to post pics, but the links off of FB seem to disappear & I am reluctant to post pics off of websites due to respecting the designers’ copyrights.
