After Joe Biden became the oldest President in history, there were doubts about whether he’d seek a second term.
His clear mental decline and disastrous Presidency have only added fuel to that fire.
With his Presidency collapsing under the weight of one crisis after another, Democrats are ready to pull the plug on Biden.
The corporate-controlled media is openly speculating about who could replace him in 2024.
Biden’s usual allies in the Democrat Party have been hesitant to endorse him for a second term.
The race for the 2024 Democratic nomination may have just begun with an eyebrow-raising move from California Governor Gavin Newsom.
Newsom, who’s running for re-election this year, made the unusual move of buying advertising spots on Fox News that will run over Independence Day weekend in Florida.
While Newsom has repeatedly denied any interest in running for the Presidency, claiming he’s only focused on California, his buying TV time in Florida raises doubts.
With a safe race for Governor in California, Newsom could be getting an early start on raising his national profile in anticipation of a Presidential bid.
Newsom has slammed Democrats for not fighting back hard enough against alleged conservative overreach on issues like abortion, pandemic restrictions, and LGBTQ+ rights.
“Where the hell is my Party? Where’s the Democratic Party? You guys paying attention to what’s going on?” Newsom told the Atlantic. “Why aren’t we standing up more firmly, more resolutely? Why aren’t we calling this out? This is a concerted, coordinated effort. And, yes, they’re winning. They are. They have been. Let’s acknowledge that. We need to stand up. Where’s the counteroffensive?”
With total Democrat control of California, he’s been able to pass a far-Left agenda that appeals to the radical base of the Democrat Party.
The choice of Florida for the ads could be to continue his feud with Ron DeSantis.
After DeSantis’ wildly successful run as Governor, Newsom has frequently attacked him in an attempt to raise his political profile with Democrats.
Newsom ripped on DeSantis for his parental rights bill and his fight against Disney.
Picking another fight with DeSantis could earn him brownie points with Democrats who consider the Florida Governor and Donald Trump their biggest political threats in 2024.
When asked what the ads are about, a spokesman for Newsom said, “stay tuned.”
This is the latest move by Newsom to draw national attention.
Earlier, he signed up for President Trump’s Truth Social platform and posted a rant about how Republican-led states have the highest murder rates.
Of course, he neglected to mention that the cities fueling those murder rates, like New Orleans and St. Louis, have been controlled by Democrats for decades.
Newsom’s latest move could signal that it’s game on in the race for the 2024 Democratic nomination.

I seriously doubt that Joe Biden is in charge of anything in his administration. The voters need to understand that just because the Democrat Party might field a less repulsive candidate, the disastrous policies will keep on happening.

I disagree. It’s so surreal, how the media and the rats pretend there’s nothing wrong with the guy. Given his decline in just the last 19 months I think it’s just impossible that they’ll try again to tell us how fine the emperor’s clothes are. In a sane state, Gavin Newsome would never be in a safe race. But California had a chance to recall this odious man and for whatever reason (fraud, illegal alien votes conservative apathy, liberal enthusiasm) they collectively chose not to. So Newsome looks like the uniparty pick.
Newsom will run on killing your baby, transing your kids, locking you in your house, closing your business, closing your church, restricting “disinformation” and taking your guns. Oh, and calling you the fascist.
By the way I knew this was coming when I heard my girlfriend crowing about what a great president Newsom would make. She saw on CNN that California has a budget surplus. When I told her that was because of billions in federal coronavirus funds she said “what funds”?
