Construction spending figures arrived, sending GDP to 2.1%. Think about that for a moment, because there is more than one force at work. Inflation has increased the cost of construction, so what is being spent on construction is more. But inflation has also slowed demand for construction. That means a whole lot less is being built than if prices were stable. That’s less productivity for the amount of labor currently employed. The layoffs will begin soon and unemployment will skyrocket.

Maybe I need to start watching it on Rumble. I’m watching it on Real America’s News via the Roku, but I don’t know if I can listen to the “if you washed clothes that had asbestos in them” commercial again. They played it at least three times in a row before starting WarRoom.

Almost all the ads they run are for local rat candidates. Rather listen to asbestos!
