Pop star Liz Phair is mourning the demise of Roe v. Wade, saying the court case that legalized abortion in 1973 has allowed women to engage in sex without the “fear” of carrying and raising a child.
Liz Phair eulogized Roe w. Wade in a tweet late Friday.
“Roe v. Wade did more than protect women’s health and life choices. It allowed women to find their sexuality without fear, to be playful and spontaneous,” the Exit in Guyville singer wrote. “Nobody takes an abortion lightly, least of all the people who endure them. But the psychological safety is profound.”
On Friday, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, overturning Roe v. Wade. The decision arrived weeks after a draft version of the ruling was leaked to the media, resulting in violent attacks on pro-life centers and angry protests outside the homes of conservative justices.
Liz Phair called the ruling “woman-hating codified,” and described the Supreme Court as “******* idiots.”

Getting pregnant then killing the fetus. Yep.
Does Liz have any conception of the constitutional issues involved in Supreme Court rulings???? On abortion, or any other issue for that matter???
Can’t you “explore your sexuality” and all that, and practice “safe sex” so you don’t have to worry about abortion in the first place???
Kid I was born with ‘my’ sexuality ...
I didnt have to go looking for it ... or is the proper term ‘her’ ...
Ever hear of birth control or the morning after pill?
Does she think she was telling us anything we didn’t already know? That’s how stupid these women are!
This abortion reversal is bringing out the selfish, heartless, blind, lost souls ..without conscience...
When bad is revealed.. its worse ...
Women on that side are living in the depth of depravity....
My my me me I me my ..must be a miserable life..
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” - John Adams
Yep. She did.
God forbid we sacrifice ANYTHING to ‘finding your sexuality”. Families. Children. Fetuses. Propriety. Competency. Yeah. let’s build a society based on sluts and perverts.
Then how come the young women of today seem so perpetually angry and bitter about men and relationships in general? Can it possibly be that they primarily see their sexuality not as a playful and spontaneous form of recreation but as a means to an unspoken but desperately desired end - one that has become almost unachievable for them under the Left's Roe/Pill Rulebook?
Any liberal woman who bemoans the lack of the abortion option should be told how absolutely stupid and lazy she is. Too stupid to get an IUD or Norplant or too lazy to take the damn pill every morning. All freedoms come with a cost. The only change is now that cost is on them and not on an innocent child.
Remember when feminists condemned men who behave the exact same way?
I think many young women are going Lesbo because they figure they can still get their jollies without fear of pregnancy.
Screwball
None of this is about whether they should have the right to choose or not. There are many methods of contraceptives that can be used.
It is all about the narcissists that have been raised.
It is..ME, ME, ME, ME. They look in the mirror and all they say is MEEEEEE.
I thought “f*ck and run” was problem for you, Liz.
I love any and all messages in music. I love the good and the bad. Just about all of the messages in music are “haunting”.
They occupy a thought-provoked area of the brain that can mix the emotion of meeting someone (Emiliana Torrini, for example) or the loss of someone’s love (like someone like Samantha James can convey). The idea of sex in music is something a bit tougher.
Liz Phair has focused her music on sex and desire. She does this both without filter and without imagination. Like the band Garbage, Hole or Nirvana.
But if you listen to, say, The Birthday Massacre they apply both filter and vast imagination to make even the scary parts of relationships more relatable. It’s a thing very few bands can do. Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, even Wang Chung (listen to dance hall days!)
Liz Phair is both a musical and personal twit. She’s terrible.
So after my take on music, the arts and making babies Liz Phair is just an idiot.
The Roe v Wade ruling bastardized our constitution imo.
Liz is a biologist?
