If Catholics are in charge, this sort of outlandishness is possible. That’s why people get stabby about abortion and birth control in the first place. My mom had to lie to get a prescription for birth control pills in the early 1960s. Why? Would an abortion have been preferable?
Don’t start yelling at me, I remember a lot of foolishness from the old days. I was like, “Wow, these people are nuts. I don’t want to be a catholic anymore!” just because of the - well, for one thing, the homicidality. This was before I was old enough to do anything but wonder what sex and reproduction were like.
Personally, I don’t think the catholic insanity had a lot to do with overturning Roe v Wade. That actually kept people from realizing what a terrible boil they had created on the face of our otherwise unblemished Constitution. Donald Trump AND the undercover video recordings done from within Planned Parenthood - mostly this was Project Veritas - had a lot more to do with this than the abortion clinic bombings, the sidewalk interventions, the gory pics, the stalking. That hampered the “pro-life” effort a great deal - whether you think it’s righteous to bomb a medical clinic in the name of your cause or not.
If you kill a murderer, there is exactly the same number of murderers in the world.
