In 1776, patriots in the USA declared independence from England.

In July, we honor those who started the ball rolling to give us the freedoms we enjoy today.

We remember these heroes on July 4th.

But with everything else we celebrate in America, is one day enough to honor the men and women who sacrificed their all that we might have our freedom?

Hardly.

Let's declare the whole month of July to honor those patriots, living and dead, who made sacrifices for us.

I’ve been encouraging folks to celebrate July 5 as 2nd Amendment day.

Hang out you Flag, take all your guns and sit on the front porch (or front yard) with an iced tea and clean them.
If any stops to ask about them, inform them of their utilitarianism in the fight against tyranny.
If the police show up, inform them about not only the 2nd Amendment but the 4th and 5th Amendments, too.
