Well ahead of the November election, ABC News has already made suspiciously detailed predictions of the outcome.
Elections will not legitimize any government if they are rigged. We must end the absurdity whereby a private corporation can be hired to count our votes and then refuse to prove to us exactly how it got the final numbers. If the system is not completely transparent and auditable, you can never be confident in it. You can be completely justified in suspecting that it is fraudulent. When the public no longer trusts those who count the votes, then the outcome will be chaos.
The 2020 election was rigged, but it is not up to us to prove that. Instead of resisting audits every step of the way, the burden of proving otherwise falls on those who refuse to open the voting machines for inspection. There can be no innocent motive to hide them. Nor can there have been any justification for blocking observers from observing. Given all the evidence, there is more than ample reason to suspect the vote-counters of cheating. The stakes are too high for them to simply call upon their accusers to prove malfeasance, when the officials in charge of ensuring fair elections are the ones obstructing justice.
What matters even more, however, is the next election. How much assurance do we have that it will be fair? So far, not enough.

My questions are, has the election already been decided? Have we already lost? Who can count the votes ahead of time?

You will not prove the fraud.
Look at the results: Trump loses, Dems pickup 3 senate seats, but GOP picked up 14 seats in the House.
How does that happen?
Well, if blue areas had their ballot boxes stuffed with votes, it would affect statewide races only. Congressional races would not be affected.
So, if Democrats simply cast votes on behalf of every registered Dem voter (which is what I suspect happened) in blue precincts, you would be unable to say that vote is fraudulent because it is linked to a registered voter.
You cannot ask that voter if they voted or who they voted for. That is illegal.
But every ballot would match a registered voter. If a voter went to the polls or dropped a mail ballot, you would have two, but there is no way to track that.
Your audit would fail right there.
Vote by mail allowed votes to be cast on behalf of every registered voter, whether they voted or not.

Thank you, been saying this for awhile. The GOP is just as dirty as the Democrats. The GOP has done little or nothing to deal with stolen elections, so the conclusion has to be that they are as corrupt as the Dems.
It should be illegal to use proprietary vote tabulating software in elections.
Tomorrow I will be ninety. I smile sadly with happy memories when I think of lost parents, family, friends of my youth, canine pets, but when I think of my beloved country that now seems to be in its death throes, I can not help from grieving.

Paper ballots only and overseen by inspectors when counted
Limited mail in votes with proof of reason why
Photo ID required to vote with thumb print

I do, really. In addition, if the ballot is not properly filled out, then software doesn’t count but segregates into into a bin for problem ballots. Problem ballots are ALWAYS kept physically segregated from all other ballots AT ALL TIMES. All precinct decisions on problem ballots are subject to re-review at county election headquarters with representatives from all political parties on the ballot present.
The canary in the coal mine was all the delays the demonkraps had in their 2020 primary election counting. Some were weeks! But the GOP NEVER had that problem. We were told it was so they could determine whether it was Sanders or Xiden, when they really were fine tuning the Nov 3, 2020 cheating and fraud machine.
Funny how the elections were rigged in 2000, 2004 and 2016, but everything was clean in 2008, 2012 and 2020.
The only question is whether it will be a flood of new Republicans into the halls of Congress ... or blood running through America's streets.

Asking one on one if they voted is legal.
Online records show whether a registered voter voted.
Canvassing in-person to ask if the online record is true is legal and has been so asked extensively. The results show insofar as the Nov 2020 election that massive fraud occurred.
You are correct that statewide races are rigged, notably by boiler-rooms in urban areas
