Two years ago, when government started announcing all of these mandates and lockdowns, I felt complete shock and fear. A free country doesn’t do this! Once you give leaders this kind of power for “protecting public health,” they will find ways to keep that power OR try to use that power again during the next “emergency.”

Of course there's going to be another pandemic, that's like saying there's going to be a hurricane in Florida, eventually it'll happen.

The question is whether or not we've learned anything from Covid and are going to repeat the same disastrous response. The lockdowns were bar none the worst thing we could have done when Covid hit. We essentially put a gun to our head and pulled the trigger, our response could not have been more incompetently handled if we'd purposefully set out to do so.
