The Dad I was referring to was the actual dad of the Cowsills. He was a mean drunk and control freak who destroyed the Cowsills band. He was good at opening the door then getting kicked out and never being asked to return.

The saddest story was the Cowsills rotten dad. He must of had PTSD or something similar. He was a tyrant and a drunk who killed the Cowsills name because nobody wanted to deal with him again once they got to know him.

Loved that song. Fell in love but she didn’t love me and I drove my roommate crazy playing it over and over.

Trying to get away and move on, caused me a lot of misery and stupidity in my life. Nearly died several times, got arrested, and more. Finally moved back home with my parents to get my life together, as I would surely have ended up dead or in prison the way I was going.

It worked out for the best in the end. Been married to another for the past 33 years.
