Such a disgusting thing, for an individual to attack and try to kill innocent people in church.

My 78 year old Wyoming cousin told me the other day his church fully expects (and this is Wyoming!) fall out from the pending abortion decision by radical left.

At every service or social function at his church, at least 4 parishners are armed and ready.

This region (south of Birmingham) is more upper-middle-class, and some would suggest heavily policed to keep crime down. However, the drug business is just ten minutes away and probably influences a lot of the internal affairs of people.

And pretty nice. I cant think of any decaying areas in Vestavia. A house my wife and I looked at not to far from this church was 179,000 2 bed 1 bath, no garage, needed 30,000+ in updates and remodel. That was 15 years ago.

The perp is Robert Findlay smith. He is a local firearms dealer registered in 1978. His listed address is rural property not far from that church. So I don’t see that he has a store per week. Perhaps he has a trailer there that I can’t see via google earth. Likely a wack job of some sort.

Our church has armed men of the church who pull guard duty around and in the church each Sunday a.m. and p.m. services and Wednesday evening Bible study times. There are several retired military such as myself and a couple of retired police guys who pull the duty. Pastor made a joke one Sunday morning that he was more afraid of getting hit in the crossfire as our ladies of the church pulled out their heat and warmed the place up if an armed person came in and started shooting. Apparently we have a number, a large number apparently, of ladies who are not afraid to lite up these types butts if they come shooting. If you come to our church and start shooting, be prepared to have your body look like that holey type cheese!! We WILL return fire!!!

I concur. Satan is a REAL being, but most just see him as some snake crawling through the grass OR they see him as a red, stick man with a pointed tail sticking up, a stupid hair or head design, and a pitchfork in his hand. NO!!! Satan is a real creature, created by God, Christ Jesua our creator and LORD of all. Then Satan got too big for his skinny red tail and wanted to take over from God and become God in his stead. Don't understand that because all Satan can do is destroy. He cannot create anything, nothing at all. Once he has beaten God, destroyed the earth, killed all humans, just what the heck is he going to do?? Be the head of what?? A bunch of destroyed, burning, smoke filled nothing?? Because that is what he will have, NOTHING. He's destroyed it all. So, I guess then that 1/3d of the angels who failed with him will start fighting him to become top dog in the universes.

BUT, IF he were to kill THE CREATOR, JESUS CHRIST, every stinking thing created will fly apart and start crashing into something else, and finally the entire universe, all the heavens, etc., will fly apart, destroying all, and will crash and burn just like the rest of the 1/3d of the fallen angels. Then they ALL DIE as the creator is not here any longer to keep them all together!! Dumb is as dumb does. He has had well over 6,000 years to pull this off and still he is failing. THE CROSS DESTROYED HIM!!! It is, was and will always be ABOUT THE CROSS OF CALVARY!!! Where Christ Jesus destroyed Satan and Christ bought us back from Him, IF . . . yup only a little two lettered word, IF, yes sir, IF you only BELIEVE. Nothing else, just believe. Believe that He was crucified, was buried and on the 3d day HE arose again in victory over death, hell and the grave!!! Jesus rules, not the stupid red stick man.

A motorcycle group (Hells Angels??) has a slogan on their shirt/jacket stating "It's better to rule in Hell than serve in Heaven". The fools. There is no rule in Hell. Not even Satan will rule there. It is chaos. Madness and chaos.
Contrast that to Heaven where there is rule. And calmness. A peacefulness. And you are surrounded by love from every where and everyone. There is no fear or pain. Nobody will have their house/car broken into. Nobody will have sickness. You will never hear a lie spoken. A peace we have never known in our lives. A Creator Who will answer all of our questions. We will see how this world has deceived us from birth on what is happiness and worthiness.

Amen. We are going to assist Christ in reigning in heaven!! I have asked Christ in some of my prayers to please let me be in charge of anything to do with the outdoors so that I can enjoy all the perfect light, no rain, no bugs, or ‘skitters. I just don’t want an office job!!! :-) I will of course take whatever He assigns me as He knows better than do what I need to do in the Kingdom of God!!! I will be happy doing that.
