Red states and red counties have LEO’s that are loyal to their community and their neighbors. Also there are a LOT of vets that live in those communities.

Yep.

I would assume that would remove the "conflicted" part of the equation real fast.

I do understand the conflict. Most of us are reasonably law abiding and love our country. Shooting at our own military and police even if they are against us is not something we would do happily. Although if even two percent do they are in trouble.

But a foreign military?
