It was announced earlier this week that the U.S. Department of Defense has officially updated its policy around military service persons and HIV. These updates come in light of “significant advances in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment” of HIV since the original policy was put into place.
The official memo from Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s office went on to state that “individuals who have been identified as HIV-positive, are asymptomatic, and who have a clinically confirmed undetectable viral load (hereinafter, ‘covered personnel’) will have no restrictions applied to their deployability or to their ability to commission while a service member solely on the basis of their HIV-positive status. Nor will such individuals be discharged or separated solely on the basis of their HIV-positive status.”

How about people with ALS or MS? Do they have to be accommodated too? How about Parkinson’s? Or brain tumors? Free military hospitals for them too?
Don’t discriminate against people with brain diseases. Bigots!!
Punish the innocent, reward the guilty.
It’s the Lieberal way.
So that means that no vaccine means you are out, but HIV + means you are in.
Is that right?
Don’t Say Infested Policy 🤪
Only if the generals will accept a field blood transfusion
This has Obama’s smelly anus fingers all over it. Austin is a puppet as much as Biden. Obama will push and push the homosexual agenda into every military orifice until it begs for pain.
Destruction of Government PROPERTY!!!
“individuals who have been identified as HIV-positive, are asymptomatic, and who have a clinically confirmed undetectable viral load...”
Here’s the science. People who have undetectible viral loads of HIV still suffer long-term debilitating health outcomes from the slow working of the virus still in their system. And what IF a member becomes “detectable” at some point during his service? Does he get booted? Homos are famous for being careless in not taking their HIV meds consistently as described. Many take “medication vacations,” for some reason.
And more and more drug resistant variants are coming into being due to many factors. What if they become infected with one of these? Do they know that they are “undetectable” between checkups, usually every 3 to 6 months? How many “sexual partners” have the exposed to the virus in the interim?
HIV meds come with their own debilitating side effects. Bone thinning, kidney and liver damage, fat accumulations, and mental alterations are just some of the side effects of long-term use of these meds. If for no other reason, being constantly on these meds should be a disqualifier. No other disease which requires constant monitoring and treatment is ignored for military service like HIV/AIDS.
Lloyd Austin, is he a pitcher or catcher? I’m guessing catcher. Must be really getting off on Pride Month
FYI: HIV infection causes accelerated aging of 14 years. This aging leads to diseases, like HAND (HIV-accelerated neurocognitive disorder) or dementia, cancers, kidney disease, et al. HIV accelerated aging happens even with antiretrovirals.
To read FR articles about this, use keyword hivaging.
And to show one reason why, if you need an emergency blood transfusion, do you want them to grab an HIV guy? Or to have x - 1 guy available for same?
HIV does not cause that and you should know better.
Quit giving us the Fauci view and get educated.
HIV does not cause AIDS.
Next you’ll be spouting the wonders of AZT.
FR is full of idiots sometimes.
We will run over your toes with our wheelchairs and send you writhing in pain.
Fear us!
Just means that a soldier in a foxhole during battle not only could stabbed by a chicom bayonet, he could also get stabbed/cornholed by his fox hole pervert-buddy...
In addition, his foxhole pervert-buddy will probably give him HIV as well...
Obviously, you didn’t check keyword hivaging, plus I just added keyword hivacceleratedaging. Check those keywords, and you’ll find this article I posted:

First article I read that said people with HIV experience accelerated aging of 14 years. To see more articles, check keywords hivaging and hivacceleratedaging.

I assume sending my post to all means every poster on this post gets a cooy.
Back in my Navy days, there were overseas ports which we could not enter unless we certified our crew 100% free from HIV ( which was not a problem because all HIV+ sailors were automatically processed for discharge after testing positive. I wonder how this new policy will impact liberty port opportunities? Of course, it is easy to predict a significant uptick in HIV cases servicewide, given the rampant promiscuity aboard ships (which isn’t much talked about, but which is a massive problem ever since warships were opened to female crew members).
America is Carthage. It doesn’t end well for Carthage.
