The incident occurred in the afternoon on May 23 when the Houston Police Department says three unidentified Black males walked into a liquor store and crowded around a locked display case of alcohol, KRIV-TV reported.
The men then reportedly asked about a $4,200 bottle that was in the case and an employee of the store came over and unlocked the case.
One of the men then grabbed the bottle while another one of the men grabbed another box of the same liquor.
The store says that the box, which the man dropped before exiting, was empty and the bottle that was taken was a decoy bottle that was worth far less than $4,200.

Years ago I purchased a fake rolex in Taiwan for $25. It was gold and diamond-encrusted. I don’t know if Rolex even made such a gaudy model.
When my crappy apartment in Washington DC was broken into a short time later, all they took was the watch and a small amount of cash. Why bother with a VCR and bulky TV when you can walk out with a $20K watch?
Anyway, it was a good investment!
Because as much as they support reparation theft and urban riots, they don't want to be seen as encouraging underage drinking. Only "teens" who are 18 or 19 can legally drink.

I hope it was filled with ipecac. We’re facing double digit food price inflation and shortages, while these people just steal their food.
Bought a fully furnished condo in SC. There was a great wine bottle (empty) featuring Elvis Presley. When I sold it last year I sold it fully furnished to a young single guy.
Wish I had remembered to take the wine bottle.
