Years ago I purchased a fake rolex in Taiwan for $25. It was gold and diamond-encrusted. I don’t know if Rolex even made such a gaudy model.
When my crappy apartment in Washington DC was broken into a short time later, all they took was the watch and a small amount of cash. Why bother with a VCR and bulky TV when you can walk out with a $20K watch?
Anyway, it was a good investment!

Bought a fully furnished condo in SC. There was a great wine bottle (empty) featuring Elvis Presley. When I sold it last year I sold it fully furnished to a young single guy.
Wish I had remembered to take the wine bottle.
