It’s been a while since we’ve checked in on one of my favorite memes from days of old (that’s also still going strong): People of Walmart.
Who are the people of Walmart?
Funny you should ask. According to the founders, The People Of Walmart blog was created in 2009 after its creators took a trip to a South Carolina Walmart and noticed a woman who “looked like a stripper” in a T-shirt that read “go f*** yourself” while accompanied by a two-year-old. Since then they’ve been bringing us the best of the worst that Walmart has to offer.
And It turns out, Walmart shoppers are still as unfortunate as ever.
Walmart is still where people don’t worry about looks or etiquette. Walmart is still where people are free. Walmart is still America, Jack! If you don’t like it, then… make sure you take your camera. There’s some pretty funny stuff going on there.

Sadly the employees at my Walmart Market are the odd ones. One of the Cashers looks sounds and acts just like the character "Malvin" from "War Games." He is definitely down the autism curve.
One of the assistant managers is grossly obese. A month or two ago, I told her that every time I see her she seems to have lost weight. She said, "oh goodness, I need to marry you." Of course I was able to tell her that my wife of almost fifty years wouldn't go along with that.
Another character I haven't seen around there in a few months was flaming with flare and loved to wear a blue and yellow Walmart school supply expert consultant cape.
The pharmacy is the exception and my wife and I love Dr. Mike and the other Docs and assistants.
Fascinating. Wonder how this was accomplished and how well they handle.
“/sometimes I give myself the creeps”
Perhaps he thought you were a relative of Edward Scissorhands, coming to voodoo curse him and give him an informal vasectomy.
That’s a very nice Australian inland bearded dragon in the one pic.
Reminds me, I need to call the Vogons to find out why the hyperspace bypass thru here is late.
One of them showed up at a gym:
Be sure to scroll down to see it from the rear. What a hoot.
Heh heh heh. Lol. Admirable.
In all the times I lived there I have never seen a city with such good race relations where everyone has respect fir each other
Humid, oh my GOD, I remember when I first hit Columbus after coming home from overseas. I first went home for leave at Christmas. Mind you my hometown where I grew up was Duluth Mn. Thus my handle OneVike.
Anyway, I remember wearing my dress Greens as I bordered the plane in Duluth. A stopover in Minneapolis and then the a straight shot to Columbus. When I left Duluth it was 25 below zero with a wind coming off the lake that dropped the windchill of -50.
When I got off I was about to die. It was 85 degrees and I swear the humidity was like 100 percent.
My first couple Months there was hell. Twice I passed out , once during command formation which had all all the units of the brigade on a blacktop helipad the size of Texas. I passed out because I was so drained of energy from them having us going from parade rest to attention every 10 minutes that seemed like an eternity. Well as I said I did a face plant into the blacktop.
They did all sorts of tests in me to try and figure out what was wrong. I kept telling them it was too damn humid for this yankee boy from Duluth.
Anyway, I did eventually acclimate to the area, but wow that humidity can kill a cat on a hit tin roof,
‘Real Doll’ ... look it up.
The kid staring at the dolls chest is what made me laugh.
My wife will say that if she needs to feel good about herself, she goes to Walmart.
How Gauche!!
