CNN's Laura Jarrett has unwittingly exposed the contempt with which the liberal media views so many Americans.
On Tuesday morning's New Day, Jarrett, daughter of Obama consigliere Valerie, was asked by co-host John Berman what it says that the Dems brought in James Goldston, the former president of ABC News, to produce their January 6 committee hearings. Replied Jarrett:
"I think it shows you that they want to make this compelling. They know that a certain segment of the American public has a tin ear to this, sadly, and shouldn't, but has seen that video of them storming the Capitol so many times now, it may not have the same impact."

After you’ve been to the carnival a few times, and figure out the games and barking are rigged, your waste of time and money changes.

Damn! The incest/inbreeding, and the fact that (gernerationally) these A-Holes never, ever leave the swamp is mind numbing. I cant imagine waking up every single morning, and being “all consumed” with their mindset (or lack thereof). It must be draining.
They need to invent a “Deep throat” character like Woodward and Bernstein did to make it more compelling. And a clever catch phrase.

It’s sounding like the Kim Jong Ill Peace Conference from that “Team America” movie. Maybe they can get Arrec Barwin to MC, although I hear he’s not too popular with the gun-control crowd.
That’s funny, as I have NEVER seen the video of the “storming” of the Capitol. Then again, these folks would find my ears irredeemably tin.
In other words, “a certain segment,” meaning all the people who voted for President Trump, and can see through their bullshit. They need Hollywood to pander that bullshit to their actual followers. As usual, Democrats think their followers are too stupid to understand what they’re saying, so it needs to be filtered, twisted, and embellished by a Hollywood TV exec so the simple people can understand.
My tin ears will be busy that evening.
