Fun to see older people can hold their own in sports.
I bike with a bunch of old-timers (road and MTB) and we ride just as fast on road and technical trails as younger riders.
I killed my knees playing racquetball 5 days a week for 20 years, and basketball once a week. Rowing is the only aerobic my 67 year old knees can take anymore.
I did enjoy beating the young studs!
Even though I have been mountain biking for years, I stopped riding the technical trails for a few years. What surprised me is that my sense of balance returned when I started using it again.
I love rowing. Have a Concept 2 in my den but only use it when bad weather keeps me indoors.
I’ve never used a trailer hitch rack but I’ll bet some others here have experience with them. Nowadays I just toss my MTB in my truck bed and built a cheap wooden bed rack for my road bike.

I have had this model Swagman for 15 years or so. The only thing wrong with it was the plastic knobs that hold the tire tray broke. I replaced them with nuts and washers.
I’m a decade or two from that age, but in my case I’ve found athletic performance hasn’t decreased as much as chance of injury has increased. Recovery time from injury seemingly takes forever as an additional insult on top of aging.
Same here! A good one. But I use it year round, indoors, good or bad weather
Kewel!!!
That's kind of fun in a way...makes the process more interesting.
That said, I don't take chances. I don't road bike on busy highways and I walk my mountain bike trails and study them before I ride them if I don't know them well.
Some days you feel it, some you don't. Wait until you are sure.
