Me either. Anyone that allergic would have passed on long before 14 years.

It is absolutely true.
I was a flight attendant and we have had to remove all peanuts prior to the flight, announcements were made and we never had an issue with some asshole putting someone’s life in danger.
I don’t know why you would even make a comment like this. Very ignorant.
To: fruser1
Google things before you express your ignorance.
I have a friend who is so severely allergic he can tell if I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before he arrived, and has to go back outside.
Yes, just opening a packet of peanuts in their presence can cause a reaction.

To: fruser1
Then you’ve never seen real allergies.
I believe it because I know someone that sensitive.

It is for real. My then 2 year old grandson had a similar sensitivity to peanuts in the air. He also almost died because he was in proximity to snack peanuts being in the same area where he was. Fortunately his mother is aware and vigilant regarding the handling of his condition.
If I were on that plane I would have smacked the shit out of that teenager.

Peanut allergies are insidious.
You exhale small particles when eating. These can be deadly to those severely affected

I do. Nut allergies can be triggered by only a few molecules in the air.

Yes, this is true. For people with severe peanut allergies, nearly being in proximity to them can cause anaphylaxis and death.
To: fruser1
No dice. She ate some peanuts herself.
