An Indiana woman was charged with murder after she allegedly followed a man she said was her boyfriend to a bar using an Apple AirTag, accused him of cheating on her and proceeded to intentionally run him over with her car, court documents show.

I'm dogsitting for a few weeks, and the dog has an AirTag. Every few hours the tag does a series of low volume chirps. Don't know why.

But the unfortunate problem here is that if the airtag is placed with a person, like in a pocket, and they are not part of the account and owning a phone from that account, they won’t know if they are being tracked. Only the planted device is being tracked. Not the person.

I knew a girl in college who picked out a guy and declared they were boyfriend girlfriend. He had no idea and no desire. When he changed colleges to mine from one up state, she also transferred. Frankly, he’s lucky she didn’t kill him.
I was walking beside her across campus from one class we had together to another we had. She looked up the hill at several men who obviously were not looking at us. She said, “See? They’re laughing at me.” I decided I had to go to my car to get a book and I tried to never be close to her again.
