Covid vaccinations for children under age 5 are expected to begin as early as June 21, a senior Biden administration health official said on Thursday.

Dr. Ashish Jha, the White House Covid response coordinator, said the Biden administration will initially make 10 million doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines available to states, pharmacies and community health centers. States can begin placing orders on Friday, Jha said, but the vaccine doses will ship only after the Food and Drug Administration authorizes the shots.

The FDA is expected to make its decision on Pfizer and Moderna’s Covid shots for infants through preschoolers soon after the agency’s committee of independent experts reviews the data on June 15, Jha said. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention would then issue its recommendations quickly after the FDA decision, which would allow vaccinations to begin after the Juneteenth federal holiday, he said.

400,000 Americans didn’t die of Covid. No one will ever know how many did. It’s a significant number to be sure but the counting was tainted from the get go from federal incentives to count all deaths as Covid deaths. As well, the federal government was threatening health care workers if they treated patients with anything but federally mandated options. But let’s not stop there . . . E.g. If I’m a leukemia patient and I die because I can’t get care and therapies because of “hospitals filling up with Covid patients” - I die of Covid too, even though it’s merely Covid “related” Therefore the hospital gets another 35K from the feds.

Understood, but the problem with such arguments is that these “fake numbers” that were used to hammer Trump are now easily used to hammer Biden.

If the temp is 80 degrees in winter, and Trump is blamed...then Biden takes over and it becomes 95 degrees in winter....conservatives should rightly attack Biden for that even higher number...not start a debate about “welllllll technically these numbers do not represent....yada yada yada”
