I see a lot of comments about what Biden is screwing up and there are many ways.
Let's pretend you have a year, a cooperating Congress, and a mandate to turn the economy around as President, what would you do? (I know, a lot of ifs especially regarding Congress, but work with me here).
Better yet, to stave off the "Let's vote Trump in and let him do it" voices, what would Trump have to do to turn the economy around if he were to take charge tomorrow?
I also hear a lot of "you just can't turn the oil spigot back on. It just doesn't work that way" comments. Fine. What would you do?
Trim the government.
Get rid of the Dept of Education, the DHS, TSA, FIB, and other over reaching government alphabet bureaucracies.
1. Open up drilling, pipelines, fracking.
2. Allow unimpeded expansion of existing oil refineries and build a new super refinery.
3. Welfare reform. 5 years lifetime government support, every year you take adds one year to when your eligible for Social Security and Medicare.
4. Eliminate Government unions, 50K max per year government retirement benefit.
5. Balanced Budget from Congress.
6. Flat Tax rate
7. Tariff products from nations that use slave labor, or workers without benefits, to levels of labor costs here.
8. Eliminate the political portions of the Executive branch: FBI, CIA, EPA, Dept of Education, Energy and Homeland Security. Eliminating useless and partisan government.
In one year the Economy would boom. Over the next 5-10 years, it would be the single largest increase in US production and expansion.
Besides whatever Trump would do, eliminate the energy and education departments. Purge the FBI, use cellphone tracking to deport all illegals and shut down the border. Open our embassies that have been shut and resume legal visa processing.
Get government out of the way.
Approve all drilling and pipelines.
Give priority to agricultural water use, and screw any “endangered” snail darters.

Nobody, except maybe Jesus, could turn this economy around in one year.
Well, maybe if we discover some insanely productive new technology and work out the bugs, and get all the infrastructure in place quickly to harness it to boost our GDP through the roof. But that’s something that you can’t predict either, and a technological revolution like that would still probably take longer than a year.

An even bigger obstacle is a lack on interest in the oil companies for building any new refineries or nuclear plants.

That’s actually the correct remedy.
Unfortunately, the Democrat party has become a criminal endeavor disguised as a political party. Legitimate political debate is where competing ideas for improving the general welfare are put forth, and where would-be leaders vie for the honor of representing the best interests of the citizenry.
That is NOT what the Democrat party is doing.
Blocking bills that would prevent election fraud.
Weaponizing the national security agencies to overthrow a duly elected POTUS.
Blocking efforts that would end corruption and bring traitors to justice.
Routinely lying to voters about what they would do if elected.
Disguising themselves and running and serving as Republicans.
Seeking to defund law enforcement and border enforcement.
Pushing regulations that destroy energy independence.
Blocking bills that would create jobs and lower inflation.
Debauching the currency and appeasing trade adversaries.
Weakening the military and appeasing our enemies.
Pushing abortion, sexual perversion and trans-humanism.
Actively seeking to destroy the constitution.
This is not a political party agenda, this is treason.
It is high time Americans realize the Democrat party not a political party at all - it is a Trojan Horse filled with enemy combatants - we have brought it inside the city walls and left it plotting to destroy us while we sleep.
I am a firm believer in relocating ENTIRE departments of government across the country, Energy goes to Alaska, Agriculture goes to Iowa, DEA and Homeland Security goes to Texas, Education ABOLISH, EPA ABOLISH, ALL repeat sub departments ABOLISH!! The ONLY stinking thing that remains in DC is the pentagon this will also split up ALL of the fricking lobbyists!! Is the bastards don’t want to transfer that’s GREAT it will shrink the beast!! DIVIDE AND CONQUER!!!

Ok, so my husband who worked 90 minutes away from DC so we could live in relative peace and afford a house, how would he get to work if he can’t use fossil fuels?

He wouldn’t. The idea is to starve the Beast in DC. Don’t work for it. Don’t facilitate your own abuse. Be brave and take a stand.
What to do? A) Appoint TRump as Economic Czar and do what he advises. B) Open all oil and gas Drilling. C) Reopen the Baby formula factory TODAY and put it to work 24-7. Have soldiers deliver it to the stores. D) Fire DAs who do not prosecute crimes. E) Arrest as Criminals all Mayors who fail to serve their people—same with Governors. F) Cancel all foreign aid to all Nations.
You got it abb it is “Drill, baby, drill!” Also build pipelines, a moratorium on solar and wind, rebuild the electric transmission system, and increase investment on fusion. Next we need to rebuild manufacturing in this country and that will require ending the regulatory capture that large corporation have managed to acquire. A little anti-trust action from the DoJ would help. Next is reform of higher education. We are wasting litterally trillions of dollars there. It needs to cost less, teach more, and teach stuff that is useful. It also needs to be a strict meritocracy and if that means everyone at the best schools is Asian so be it. Then we need to put the LGBTQ+ movement back in the closet. I don’t mean criminalize it I mean treat it like smoking. You are an adult. You can do it, but don’t expect society to celebrate it. No more Pride Month. Next we need to take this entire new pantywaist generation of woke imbeciles and introduce them to work. A gap year where we send you to pick fruit is not a bad idea. We can use some help building the wall on the border too. I got more ideas but that is a start.
1. Pull back regulations that stifle innovation and growth. Especially those that promote entrepreneurs and small businesses.
2. Finish the pipelines that Biden killed. Work with Canada to restart the flow of oil into the country while restarting our own drilling and fracking activities. Get back to energy independence.
3. Approve the construction of new modern nuclear facilities and refineries. End subsidies to wind and solar. If they aren’t competitive in the marketplace too bad. We can’t as a nation afford frivolous energy toys. We need dependable, cheap and abundant energy. None of which wind and solar provide. If rich people want to spend their own money on such things fine, but no government subsidies.
4. There are a lot of infrastructure needs to be addressed. Work with public/private partnership to get stuff done. Put people to work building things that matter and allow them to earn a good honest wage for their efforts. If you are an able-bodied person and you won’t work, then you get nothing from the government teat.
5. Close the border, enforce immigration laws, end anchor baby policies, cut off all benefits to those who can’t prove they are here legally and send offenders back to their home countries.
5. Cut spending. I’m sure that I could sit down and, in a few days, find trillions in unnecessary spending that could be cut. Some of it would hurt, but so will our eventual default. Either we will get our fiscal house in order, or the global community will do it for us. It’s better if we do it.
6. End our slavish promotion of the LBGTQ agenda. These people are all mental ill. Quit trying to make them the norm at the expense of the moral underpinnings of the nation. 2+2 does not equal 5, and someone born with XY chromosomes can’t get pregnant. If you wake up every morning and look in the mirror and see something you’re not it’s called being delusional. You are mentally disturbed and need help not affirmation.
7. Send education back to the states. Disband the Dept. of Education. Let parents decide what’s best for their kids. Take all money appropriated for education and make it available to parents to use as they see fit for educational purposes. Homeschooling, private schools, religious schools, private tutors, good public school whatever. The money goes to the child not to the school. If the schools want the money, they have to ask for it and give the parents a reason for spending it at that school. That should destroy the teacher’s unions and their outsized influence on educational policies
And lastly return the country to its constitutional roots. The FF did a pretty good job of giving us a road map for success. It worked fine for over 200 years. We need to get back to it. Let the states make their own policies on those things that the federal government has no business being involved in. Appoint judges who agree with that. If someone doesn’t like the country that produces, there are a lot of countries they can move to. Watch House Hunters International. People do it all the time.
Bring Trump back.
1. Return to Trump’s oil drilling policies.
2. Require large companies that buy smaller companies to be liable for the pensions of the purchased companies.
3. Ban all out-of-state political contributions for any position below the president or vice president. No out-of-state money means any money that wasn’t raised in said state.
4. Build the border wall.
5. Outlaw gay marriage.
6. Replace head of household tax benefits with a real marriage tax benefit.
7. Require publication of all political donation sources, eliminating all dark money contributions.
1- Lock up all DemonRAt politicians and bureaucrats, nationwide, so they stop wrecking things.
2- Get out of the way.
I would do one more thing along those lines, but it would take more than a year. I would rotate sessions of Congress geographically like the Superbowl. One year Congress would meet in Harrisburg, PA, next year in Richmond, VA, etc.
Congerscritters and their associated staff members would have no reason to set up permanently in the DC area. Lobbyists would have to spend money to keep up, how awful for them!
