Actor Owen Wilson had $4,000 worth of tires and rims stolen from his Tesla that was parked outside his Santa Monica mansion as crime continues to soar in the area.
The Zoolander star reportedly told police that the theft happened overnight and that he discovered the missing tires the next morning.
Crime is surging in Los Angeles, so much so that it has also leaked into nearby communities such as Santa Monica, Brentwood, Marina Del Rey, Pacific Palisades, and other tony areas.
In fact, despite that Santa Monica is usually ranked as one of California’s safest cities, residents of the L.A. suburb were shocked when the town made the list as one of California’s least safe cities this year.
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon has faced fire and a recall effort amid the historic crime spike.

If the Leftists aren’t careful, people may start considering all of the crime in Los Angeles to be a problem, now that it is starting to affect them, rather than just the brown/black/Asian people as before.
Uh Oh - Crime is starting to encroach on the “elite”. Time to beef up security and more gun control for the peasants.
My truck tires and rims were almost that.. tires alone were just under $2100.00.

Owen Wilson must have been afraid of a Tesla battery fire. So he parked it outdoors. Where his Tesla's hot ($$$) wheels got removed.
It was news a few years ago that he tried to commit suicide.
All wealthy, heavily Democratic areas with massive support for the likes of Hillary, Obama, Biden, Garcetti- to the point where big Dems fly in on private jets to attend fund raisers in those areas from super wealthy donors.

I remember that. Had to do a web search to remember out who dumped him just before that. It was Kate Hudson. Owen’s made up for his loss by having 3 kids with 3 different women. He’s been a great entertainer, though.
Wondering the same the things they call a mansion is California.
A guy could do a lot worse.
