My father had to get his roof replaced because of storm damage and his insurance company (Travelers I think) initially flagged it as fraud.
It would have taken 10 minutes to investigate, but every house in my father’s neighborhood was getting the roof replaced because of one severe storm.
It got straightened out, but what yet another reason why I hate dealing with insurance companies.
Give it time....they’ll work on it in the background and subversively. The pressure from the rainbow crowd continues unabated. After all, they originally wanted to be treated equal, now they want special, and only their way. This won’t end well.
I’ve been with Allstate since I was 16. They never screwed me once or dropped me when they could have. Don’t know if they have the best price.
I’m not a farmer, but I buy Kentucky Farm Bureau insurance and it’s waaaaaay cheaper than State Farm. Maybe something like that near you.
Our neighbors all got their roofs replaced but Liberty Mutual decided we didn’t have damage, even though we had obvious damage and dozens of shingles knocked down. Frustrating.

I left State Farm a few years ago, but have been disappointed with USAA.
When agents approach me I tell them they could offer it free and I would still turn them down. Mrs. googoo’s baby brother is my Allstate agent. In spite of that I would still highly recommend Allstate. I’ve been with them for 30+ years

I’ve worked for Prudential for more than 35 years. I hate the company as they’ve turned into far left wing/woke hypocrites the past decade.
DO NOT BUY LIFE INSURANCE/ANNUITIES/INVESTMENTS FROM PRUDENTIAL!!
I’ve sold Liberty Mutual auto/home for 20 years. Decent company with decent rates and I’ve not witnessed any woke BS from them. Buy from an agent, not the 800#
