“All Toyota Tacomas now built in Mexico”

I know someone who sold a pickup last month; it was in great shape, maybe 5 yrs old with 60k mileage. He got a few thousand above what he paid for it new. Another friend sold his year old Tesla 3 for more than he paid for it. In SoCal the demand for cars exceeds the supply.
Anecdotal, but driving through Clermont Florida yesterday, I noticed every car dealership had a full lot except for the Toyota dealer.
I always wondered why the best, most reliable auto manufacturer makes the most but ugly cars...
I always figured there is a reason for it.
Also the most beautiful cars (Italian) can barely get out of the driveway without breaking down.
Toyota might be the only major automaker still making new ICE vehicles. Their leadership is still skeptical of the current EV technology while all the other automakers have drank the kool-aid.
