A better strategy might be to make sure that young boys “of color” have a father in the house who's decent,hard working and respectable. It worked for me! And it worked for my kids as well!

I saw a Torino with no wheels on it...

True story - it was my Big 6 days and we were in a rental car in....... East St. Louis...

We got a flat.... Fortunately, I’m driving. The other 2 guys were like what do we do?

I said get back in the car.

And I drove back to the office on the flat.

Told the rental company to send me a new car which they did and to send a tow truck for the other car, which they did.

Back then I was giving them $1,000-$1,200 or more business every month.

Some weeks I had rental cars every day even the weekends.

So the Barbershop is the father figure giving advice. Glad to hear what these Barbers are doing, but think better results come from having a Dad showing the right path every day.

Been trying to get my hair cut for 6 weeks.

Last week I walked in, no line, 45 minutes before they closed, was taken care of immediately.

All the other times the line was at least an hour. Grocery shopped one time for almost an hour. Mine was even longer.

It the haircut still free if you disagree and believe the means of self defense cannot be infringed else its meaningless? Or is the haircut free only if you agree?

At least these barbers are taking some responsibility and trying to do something positive in their community.
