Former U.S. Army sniper Robert Terkla discusses current problems the Russian invasion has (May 29, 2022).
At least attempt to sound credible. I like toying with you but you make it too easy with this immense stupidity.
The stupidity is all yours so far. I still remember you sporting fake Ukrainian offensives.
Your memory is prone to hallucinations due to having a congenital birth defect in the brain. Nothing can fix it, but we do hope you refrain from reproducing.
China may see weakness in Russia, however I suspect Russia’s ability to defend it’s own territory may be much greater than its ability to project into Ukraine. In Ukraine they depended on a small and shrinking truck fleet that simply cannot sustain the resupply they need at the front line. However they control lots of rail lines going throughout the east that can quickly move men and materials to defend. You can also convince a lot more conscripts of the value of defending “Mother Russia” than you can to conquer Ukraine. Lots of Chinese hardware is also copied off of Russian stuff so it is likely just as bad if not worse.
I think there is a significant risk of China going after the Russian east, but it could be a very costly miscalculation, just like Russia’s foray into Ukraine. On the other hand, China has for decades focused on how it will project power into the South China Sea and how to take Taiwan. Changing targets would be a significant strategic refocus. I think that they would expend their military projection capabilities taking Taiwan or taking Eastern Russia. Those are either/or propositions, assuming they could actually take even one.
My question is where did it come from, not where did it go.
Yep the Vietnamese kicked the Chi-Coms' @$$es in that one.
“There is considerable evidence the arms flowing to Poland are not top level upgrades. Digital targeting is removed from artillery. It’s probably silly because there’s no reason to think the Russians care about that technology. Their own may be superior, but fear of losing those weapons is the reason technology is removed before shipment.”
In fact the idea that the M777s came without DFCS modules is from the Russian sources which shown the captured items without them.
Then the videos of guns in transit were shown by Ukraine with modules in place.
Now the talk is that they came with the Canadian variety GDMS, and the Russians hacked them feeding the system the coordinates of the Ukrainian own targets.
That is why the systems were disabled.
Sorry, that’s just horse hockey whoever is saying that.
Go check out official RGF pages and try to find any group that is listed as BTG.
You will not find it in the Naval Infantry, VKF, Ground Forces or National Guard terminology. BTG is just a western convention to name something that makes sense in western terms. RGF units are additionally designated by home province of operation and by military number.
Here’s a fuller explanation of RGF organization
—
The RGF once used the Army with many Divisions. But that was during WWII and the cold war. Since there were no more major wars, the RGF downsized its unit division from Division to Battalion. However since 2014-2020, they have begun to convert back to Division.
Now there is a mix of unit designations Division and Battalion.
None of the smaller divisions are even close to Western unit make up (totally forget the “BTG” terminology - a Western construct).
For instance: there are 2 kinds of Mechanized Infantry Brigades, each with a different, but similar, make up. Call them Type A and Type B.
Type A has 2 tank battalions (~60 T-72 tanks), 2 Infantry battalions, Engineer battalion, Recon battalion, 2 self propelled arty battalions (could be up to 3 battalions), MLRS (Grad) battalion, AA battalion, Comm battalion, UAV battalion (Orlon-10), Sniper battalion, and Support battalion. Self-sufficient.
Type B has 3 infantry battalions (mixed as A& B below), 1 Tank battalion.
Infantry battalions in each Brigade are of two types, call them A & B.
A has ~540 troops, 49 BTR-82s, 8 120MM Mortars, 6 AGS-17s, 15 AT missile. 3 SPG-9s. 3 companies of about 109-110 troops.
Fighting force about 300 troops.
B has ~460 troops, 42 - BMP-2s, 8 120mm mortars, 6 AGS-17s, 15 AT missiles, 3 SPG-9s. 3 companies of 91 troops.
Fighting force about 270 troops.
Troops on the frontline are never more than half, but more like 40%

As you can see there is no match for what the make up of the Western BTG convention.
Stupid question by your FSB handlers.
Of, you had your tequila early again.

“...where did it come from?”
One manifestation of the problem is the long spend out of some items in the package. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that about $5 billion of the $40 billion will spend out in this fiscal year and the next (FY 2022 and FY 2023). However, $14 billion will spend out in FY 2026 and after, while some money will not be spent until FY 2031.
In other words, they don’t have the money in hand...yet. They are probably going to do what they have been doing for many generations and that’s borrow from in hand money previously earmarked from different location in the budget so they can short everyone not enough to be critical, just...short. And if that becomes a problem, they will future tax and replace it before the public wakes up and realizes the problem, bailing out the fund they stole it from. Legalized embezzlement.

“Russians are now bringing in WW2 era tanks”
Ummm....no. The oldest they have brought in are T-55’s(made in 1955)
I would like to kno your clear, unambiguous meaning before I respond.

😈😈😈
“If you think Russia is free, go there and attempt to be an opponent to the regime.”
Kind of like protesting at the capitol on Jan. 6th?
Meh...Russia has a much larger pool to draw from than Ukraine, which means it has the luxury of being able to rotate troops for much needed time off. Plus its made good use of Kodyrov's Chechen fighters as well as Ukrainians from the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republic, volunteer battalions of Ossetians, Serbs, etc.
My guess is you're going to start seeing former Ukraine military forces fighting against the Kiev regime in the future, as well as Belarusians...especially if Poland and/or the Baltics are dumb enough to get directly involved.
Thanks, that is a good one!
“Russian oil exports to Italy have more than quadrupled due to unintended consequences of Western sanctions”. The same is true in many other parts of the world. Since oil is the largest source of foreign cash in Russia along with food and they are currently receiving a lot more per barrel... I can safely predict that short of nuclear war, the Russian economy is not going to collapse before the end of the year.
https://news.yahoo.com/russian-oil-exports-italy-more-135533273.html

The Russian economy is far less susceptible to foreign interference than ours. Russia is one of the few countries in the world which is both a food and energy exporter. They also have a paltry national debt compared to our own. $20 Billion as compared to over $21 Trillion not including our unfunded liabilities which they simply do not owe. They are by nature paranoid and their economy is one of the most self sufficient in the world. So keep reading the Daily Mail and dreaming.
One of the reasons they want Ukraine to draw new conscripts from. And one of many reasons why it is in the World's interest to deny Russia that gain.

Is that why you asked in the first place?
I enjoy seeing Neocons stumble around clueless, yet still cheering 📣 for something they don’t understand. You being an example.
