This is the shocking moment a United Airlines worker hits a passenger at the check-in desk before he is punched to the ground in a vicious brawl, leaving his face covered in blood.
Footage shared online shows the employee and the holidaymaker trading punches in the ugly fight in front of horrified tourists at Newark Airport.
The man in the black sweatshirt had approached the check-in desk pushing his luggage in a wheelchair.
The uniformed United employee then confronted him over his use of the wheelchair, which quickly descended into a physical fight.
Footage being shared does not show the start of the altercation but it does show the employee striking the passenger in the face.

In a longer version of the video, the black guy hit the United Employee first.
Did you watch the entire video? I saw the passenger land the first blow.
I do notice that most Freepers seem to want to comment before viewing the article. (Sometimes I am guilty as charged.) But it really looked kind of funky the way the employee came at him.
The media is really trying to direct all the angst at the employee, glossing over what the passenger was doing before and after. The wheelchairs are for the passengers to move through the terminal safely, not for carrying luggage. For all we know, the employee might have been trying to get the chair for someone who actually needed it.

The United Employee hit him first, then invited a further fight.

Not that it matters, but I’m pretty sure both men are black.
The employee is what would be called a lightskinned black guy. His big mistake was taking it personally that the tall one was being ‘disrespectful’. Don’t jump down in the jello with him, stay professional for as long as you can.
Big boy can’t fight.. but the skinny dude knows how to throw a punch.
