Tell ya what. Yeah, the character is butch lezbo, BUT, besides the look she sports, it's not being shoved down our throats. In fact, the character she plays is actually somewhat funny from time to time.

I'm annoyed there aren't more men on the bridge, there is that.

And so far, they aren't making all sorts of 'woke' points in the ending scenes. So far, for example, the theme to the last episode I watched was: Don't torture a kid, even for a whole society's benefit.

It really feels like TOS. I've been enjoying it.
