Three red fox kits died from highly pathogenic avian influenza in Michigan, which is the state's first confirmation of the virus in wild mammals.
The fox kits, collected between April 1 and April 14, came from three separate dens in Lapeer, Macomb and St. Clair counties.
The DNR received a report from a wildlife rehabilitator in southeastern Michigan about the fox kits exhibiting neurologic signs of avian influenza before death, according to the release.
The kits were observed circling, tremoring and seizing.
Two of the three died within hours of intake, while one appeared to respond to supportive therapy but then died in care.

"At this point, it is unclear how the fox kits became infected, but it’s possible that they were exposed by consuming infected birds, such as waterfowl."

There are more than enough genuine crisis plaguing our nation already without us falling for another scam and destroying what remains of our freedoms.
During all this covid stuff I would occasionally sit in on some podcasts and forums frequented by professional virologists. Every once in awhile a few would chime in their suspicions that many of these emerging viruses actually arose from a lab, be it aids, ebola or whatnot. And some thought ‘bird flu’ might possibly be a bioweapon, being used by one government against another to screw with their food supply and economy. Then would talk about the suspicious circumstances of when and where it would arise. I don’t mean to project conspiracy here, but these guys were experts in that field so take it for what its worth.
