... Grooming can take place online or in-person. It’s usually employed by a family member or someone else in the victim’s circle of trust, such as a coach, teacher, youth group leader or others who naturally have some interaction with the victim.
Though grooming can take many different forms, it often follows a similar pattern.
Victim selection: Abusers often observe possible victims and select them based on ease of access to them or their perceived vulnerability.
Gaining access and isolating the victim: Abusers will attempt to physically or emotionally separate a victim from those protecting them and often seek out positions in which they have contact with minors.
Trust development and keeping secrets: Abusers attempt to gain trust of a potential victim through gifts, attention, sharing “secrets” and other means to make them feel that they have a caring relationship and to train them to keep the relationship secret.
Desensitization to touch and discussion of sexual topics: Abusers will often start to touch a victim in ways that appear harmless, such as hugging, wrestling and tickling, and later escalate to increasingly more sexual contact, such as massages or showering together. Abusers may also show the victim pornography or discuss sexual topics with them, to introduce the idea of sexual contact.
Attempt by abusers to make their behavior seem natural, to avoid raising suspicions. For teens, who may be closer in age to the abuser, it can be particularly hard to recognize tactics used in grooming. Be alert for signs that your teen has a relationship with an adult that includes secrecy, undue influence or control, or pushes personal boundaries.

Wrong. Men have always been predators and will often seek out girls to exploit. Mothers have every right to “freak out” if some old fat bastard is getting too close to her daughter.
Well, isn't that bigoted and sexist! You also have a problem with very basic First Amendment rights.
Good parents can't control when their child associates with a peer who is a bad influence. Conversely, bad parents shouldn't be able to control it if a teacher is a good influence on the kid. Too many women today think of a man as just a sperm donor to have a kid. They reject the role of a traditional father as being anything that is necessary or even good for their child. They also are very adept at making abuse allegations to gain sole custody of child, and aren't shy about making similar allegations against teachers and schools. Hysteria is never leads to good social policy.

There's a difference between punishing the truly guilty, and a witch hunt that targets people honestly trying to make a difference in their little corner of the world. Absolutely. But by the leaders of institutions today largely, perhaps overwhelmingly, fall in one of these categories:
1. Those can't tell the difference.
2. Those who can tell the difference, but are so afraid of finding themselves the target of a witch hunt, they act as if they cannot.
3. Those who can tell the difference, but who find it, personally, politically or financially gratifying to participate in witch hunts, and thus act as if they cannot.

The same with Priests and look at that outcome.

Teaching is a low paying profession, which is now experiencing a teacher shortage. Lie.
Out and out lie.
Teaching is at worst a middle class profession and in poor areas teachers are often the highest paid people in the area.
Going after teachers for "grooming", which is itself not likely a crime, means fewer teachers.
Got it.
Ok Groomer.

Wrong again. Most men don't want to be fathers. Most men never grew up and when they get married, they realize that its too much work and check out. Most men would rather spend their time in fantasyland and masturbate their lives away than to do the work and be a good parent.

Well, isn't that special. Most modern American women either aren't looking for man who would be a good father for children, or simply don't want one. They like the bad boys. For example there is the female prison guard who helped the inmate escape and then shot herself when they got caught. She is far too typical of the liberated woman.

Because “mother’s freakout” for no reason….
So, we have 3.5 million elementary and high school teachers employed in the us presently, not including teachers' aides. Statistically, that's about .01% of that total. Of course, people are innocent until proved guilty, so getting charged doesn't mean the charge has been proved. Other than the rainbow crowd, I don't really worry about the teaching profession, and I am quite suspicious of abuse claims against female teachers and their male students.
Contrary to the hysteria that you are pushing, there's no need for a witch hunt. Find the truly guilty and punish them severely, but leave the rest alone to do go in their local communities. The group that I am most concerned about molesting minors is the cops. I remember a local police chief who was having sex with a minor in his office years ago, but the local DA refused to prosecute him. I knew a person who was sexually abused by one cop as a minor, then impregnated by another cop at 16. Nothing ever happened to either of them. Cops also lie to cover up for each other. It's called the Code of Silence. Teachers will rat on each other at the drop of a hat. I don't worry about the teachers.
I also want the teachers to form bonds with their students without crazy parents harassing them. Who is more likely to molest a minor, a teacher who has undergone a thorough background check and has a license, or the trash that some poor parent dredged up at the local bar and brought home? When one of these creeps starts grooming a minor, I want that kid to have a teacher that he/she feels comfortable talking about such thing to report the matter to the appropriate authorities. You don't.
