Tesla founder Elon Musk revealed that Twitter's sample size to review fake accounts is 100.

Do you dislike Musk that much? He should exit stage right. The company is a cesspool and is misrepresenting it’s assets. Musk is throwing away his $ buying a pig in a poke.
$44bilion well spent to see the government over reaction for regulation of the company immediately after Musk says he is buying it. Why no interest in a Minister of Truth for the last 230 years Washington?
I would buy it just to publicly wreck it with much consternation and bloviation as I could generate around it.
One way or another law abiding folks are gonna get the upper hand. When that happens we are gonna need a lot more jail space.
If Musk blindly buys the company, he can be exposed to massive lawsuits from corporations wanting their advertising money back when it becomes discovered that many of the users they were paying Twitter money to advertise to were fake accounts.
Easy to spend someone else’s money. Easy to propel them into being the target of law suits, of a Government who identifies the man & finds the crime, of crowds of leftists that will target his family, his employees, his other businesses. IOW easy to treat him as a tool for your use.
Im not spending Elons money. He is a smart man and chooses his hobbies to suit himself. Im glad he having a fun time with it.
I agree. For his purposes & satisfaction and as long as that purpose meshes with freedom of speech and transparency at twitter I applaud him & am grateful. When & if our purposes diverge it is still his right to pursue his legal pleasures & ambitions.
Twitter isn’t the only using fake accounts many questions have been asked about Facebook money flows fast to keep things mum.
I don’t understand why it’s on hold and why he then said he is committed to buying.
I suspect he intends on buying Twitter. He is just negotiating the fair market value of the company.
A man approaches a beautiful woman in a bar, and without any small talk, asks her “If I give you a dollar will you sleep with me?” The woman is instantly angry and tells the man “Absolutely not!” Before she can get away from the man he asks her a second question. “Will you sleep with me for a million dollars?” Now the woman pauses and after some thought says “Yes, I will.” The man responds “How about for twenty dollars?” Again the woman looks indignant and says “Of course not. What kind of a woman do you think I am?” The man replies “I thought we just settled that. I was just negotiating the price.” Ba Da Boom!
I stated in a prior thread that this was their Achilles’ heel.
It was also about a week ago that I began to wonder if Musk was playing Trump’s version of 3D chess and that this whole public charade might be a strategy.
The revelation of the NDA and other details in this post validate my suspicions.
fascinating
If Musk legal team want to sample for fake accounts they should look at those that ticker spam Stock Symbols.
I bet you could sample a 100 and get over 25 percent...lolol
Elon Musk is soon going to find out Twitter is controlled by the CIA and is nothing but a propaganda arm of the Deep State. You just identified the logic for 1st amendment complaints against Gurgle, FakeBook and Twatter.
The question really isn’t buy or not buy, it’s got more to do with the price. If Musk can discount the purchase price to factor in the cost of lawsuits and rebates to advertisers, it is in his best interest to do so. The only problem is that the current shareholder absorbs the discount, not the employee who pulled off the bad behavior. But, hey, who expects bad behavior from employees?
Because he may be able to get it for 1/2 of what he offered. I read a really good article about Elon being in the driver’s seat on this deal. If he backs out, Twitter stock will bottom out and the likelihood of him paying the $1B penalty is slim to none.
Not sure about that, but they are contracted with the military and I suspect the CIA. That conclusion was arrived at by coincidences I observed over quite a few years.
My cat is seriously ticked.
Are her cat Friends @catsoftwitter really cats?
Or fleas?
$$%^^@$^&* and a big hisssssssss.
