I have a bunch of similar DD214s.
Primary is this coming Tuesday. Kind of late to deal with anything new or complicated.
Joined Army Reserves 9/65 and honorably discharged 8/71. Severed 4 year with original unit. Can’t recall unit number. Then went to graduate school. 12 months there. Can’t recall unit number. Started work. New unit. 12 months. Can’t recall. Never missed a meeting. Worst yet got discharge papers, went for VA loan and years 5 and 6, the Army can’t recall.
Guess I am a Clinton plant too.
To be honest, she basically invited this scrutiny. Three weeks ago, I liked what I was hearing from her so I checked her campaign site. I was surprised by how vague it was regarding her accomplishments. “Adjunct professor of finance” That’s it? Where? For how long? “10 years in military” OK, but where did you serve and in what capacity? She recently updated the site to provide some more specifics, but that’s something she should have done at the start.
I have two DD214s. First was after I took a short to reenlist at 2.5 years and the second was when I mustered out after 8 year and 3 months.
While I was on my third COT they told me I had to extend another year so they could send me on a 4th COT remote tour. I told them to shove it, I’m going home when my time is up this time. I did the 8 years and change - 6 years and 11 months of that was overseas...

Reservists receive a DD-214 after completing bootcamp/basic. That’s all this is. My question is, why does Kathy seem so confused about all this? Is she just slow? She says lots of stuff we can agree with, but something seems off. I’m not in PA, so not my problem. Oz is problematic too. We need better candidates...

You get multiple DD214s when you transfers from the reserves to a five duty and back again…. I saw her last DD214 and it said honorable… don’t fall for this late game BS.
Hold the phone folks. This is a DD214 for advanced initial training. Looks suspicious at first glance but when you read the whole document it paints a different picture. Note the 214 has the left top corner folded over like it is stapled to another document. In the 28.5 years of my service I had way more than one DD214. I keep them in a PDF listed in chronological order. Depending on how you are released from active duty back to the reserve component it could be an uncharacterized because she was not actually discharged from the reserves but released from Advance Initial Training back to her home unit under title 10 USC. The key is the separation codes which AR635-200 is now obsolete.

I joined the National Guard in 1971.
Attended Basic Training at Ft. Polk, La.
Attended Advanced Training at Ft. Sam Houston, Tx.
My DD214 says I served from 15JUL71 until 25NOV71.
Honorably Discharged
and assigned to Army Reserves/Georgia National Guard
for an additional 5 years and 5 months.

I can’t see a legitimate reason to keep him under wraps when you are running for office unless perhaps he worked or works in Intelligence
