Reservists receive a DD-214 after completing bootcamp/basic. That’s all this is. My question is, why does Kathy seem so confused about all this? Is she just slow? She says lots of stuff we can agree with, but something seems off. I’m not in PA, so not my problem. Oz is problematic too. We need better candidates...

Young members of the military are often a bit hazy about what it was they agreed to by signing on the dotted line. Naiveté, ignorance, call it what you will, but sometimes they never look back to fill themselves in on what it was they just did. Again, not necessarily unusual, particularly if the servicemember did not have a family member to clue them in.
