Great story.
Does this mean that each child had at least 12 children?

96 years old - 82 years of marriage.. hmm.
I guess 14 was legal back then - or do you subtract leap years?

It appears the key to this marriage, which is the key to every marriage, begins as the Bible begins with the wife saying and living out things like
"This is my husband. I love my husband, I love my children," Arwilda said. "I've got grandchildren out here in the crowd. I didn't intend to say all this but God has been so good to us."
The big reason for so many failed marriages today is the the demented and disastrous Women's Movement promoting the rebellion of women to not love and obey their husbands and often to not love their children but instead kill them before they are born.
Very unpopular statements but absolutely true and the truth, not lies, rebellion, and murder, is what sets people free.

My grandparents made it to 80 years. My grandfather died that same year at 100. My grandmother the next year at 101.
Unheard of in this day and age.
My wife and I just celebrated 30. We’ll see if she kills me before 80…

I wonder how many people feel like they've been married for 82 years?

"I wonder how many people feel like they've been married for 82 years?" Wife & I have been married for 62 years and it feels like 22 years...
It has gone by too fast...

I love their turquoise and white color scheme — it looks great on them! They’ve doubtless been a blessing to their family and community.

The key to a successful marriage is a man who takes his God ordained role as provider and protector of his family seriously.
Any woman worth her salt would be thrilled to find a man who worked hard, didn’t fool around, didn’t abuse her and the kids, and stood up and protected them when needed, instead of being the one she needs protection from.
Sadly, based on commentary here, the only thing men are interested in wives for is sex and to make them a sammich, IOw, dote on them hand and foot.
Women sign a marriage license, not a bill of sale. They are a wife, not an indentured servant. The women’s movement didn’t start in a vacuum.
