The marriage is still on, and the children are still around.
Married...With Children appears on its way to receiving an animated revival more than 25 years after it originally went off the air, Deadline reported.
The show, which follows a suburban family always at one another's throats, will see all four members of the Bundy family return.
This includes Ed O’Neill as Al Bundy, Katey Sagal as Peggy Bundy, Christina Applegate as Kelly Bundy and David Faustino as Bud Bundy.
Family Guy executive producer Alex Carter wrote the revival and will serve as showrunner.
The outlet reported that Fox, Hulu and Peacock are considered 'logical destinations' for the animated show.
It's unclear where exactly the animated show will pick up and what the characters will be doing in the series.
Married...With Children's finale wasn't a true finale as the show was canceled after its eleventh season.
It originally aired from 1987 to 1997 for 11 seasons and 259 episodes and helped launch the career of Christine Applegate who has gone on to mainstream success in movies like Anchorman and Bad Moms as well as the critically-acclaimed drama-comedy Dead to Me.
There have been a number of attempts at a Married...With Children spin-off series over the years including one that gained serious traction not too long ago.
Faustino reportedly pitched an idea for a spin-off about six years ago that would've followed his character Bud who has to move back into his old house with his ex-wife and his best friend after Al and Peggy win the lottery and move to Las Vegas.
The show was going to be titled Bud and had the blessing of Married...With Children's creator Michael G. Moye.
Because of their schedules, other actors wouldn't have been able to commit to that spin-off, but Deadline reports the

I don’t have Facebook, and this video played for me.

O’Neil is a leftist democrat.
He was still a great Al Bundy, though.
Al: “Do I have to touch it?”
Yes I read that and again WHY!
$
Yes, he was.
The best show was when Al returned a decades old library book..
Same librarian! She called him a loser. He said (paraphrase) “ I get up and go to a job I hate and come home to this family. Then I get up and do it all over again. THAT makes me a winner, you old prune of a woman!”
Loved it
I hope this doesn’t mean they are going to make the Bundy family “woke”.
LMAO
Maybe my favorite episode:
Miss DeGroot : You know, Mr. Bundy, I’ve worked at this library for 44 years. I was eligible for retirement 3 years ago. Do you know why I stayed?
Al Bundy : You learned to eat books?
Can they at least make Marcie cute again like she was the first season, before she got all lezzoed up.
Yep. Lol
Bud: "Don't worry about it - maybe you're just not his type."
Kelly: "Hey! I'm everybody's type!"
Fright Night
My favorites are the one with the cookout and the dead aunt AND the aliens one.
I took my daughter to a Comic-Con several years ago and was wearing my ‘NO-MAAM’ T Shirt and Amanda Bearse (aka Marcy Darcy) came at me with the chicken expression yelling at me about wearing that shirt. She was surprised someone actually had that shirt and would wear it. She had a good sense of humor about it. She hung out with us the rest of the day in between breaks from her gig there. It was Funny. I still have the photo. My daughter was on cloud 9 and couldn’t believe it. Lots of Fun had.
Yeah, that’s most of hollywood. You can tell who wrote the show was too. They made the darcys “republicans”, which was not believable because of the way they acted.
Gonna show a remake of Al trying to retrieve his high school football from his former girlfriend cheerleader?
“What happened”?
